Nairobi National Park is Kenya’s oldest national park, located just a short drive from Nairobi’s city center. This unique park offers a one-of-a-kind safari experience, where visitors can see a variety of wildlife, including lions, rhinos, giraffes, and zebras, with the Nairobi skyline in the background. The park is also home to over 400 bird species and open savannahs dotted with acacia trees. 6:00 AM: Pick-up from hotel and drive to Nairobi National Park.
6:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Enjoy a morning game drive, spotting lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, and more.
10:30 AM: Exit the park and head to David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.
Mid-Morning:
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Visit Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you’ll watch baby elephants being fed and learn about their conservation efforts.
Afternoon:
12:30 PM: Arrive at the Giraffe Center, home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe. Enjoy hand-feeding giraffes and learning about conservation efforts.
1:30 PM: Drop-off at your hotel or preferred location in Nairobi.
