Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi - Tsavo East

Morning:

Begin your adventure with an early morning departure from Nairobi. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Kenyan countryside, which takes about 5-6 hours to Tsavo East.

Arrive at Boma simba lodge and check in. Take a moment to refresh and enjoy a welcome drink.

Afternoon:

After lunch, head out on your first game drive across the park. As you explore, you’ll encounter large herds of elephants, the famous “red” elephants, which are a unique sight in Tsavo. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner, followed by a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2

Tsavo East

Early Morning:

Start the day early with a sunrise game drive. The morning light creates the perfect conditions for spotting wildlife as they are more active at this time.

Enjoy a stop for coffee and snacks while soaking in the tranquility of the African wilderness.

Mid-Morning:

Return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast, followed by a little relaxation before your next adventure.

Afternoon:

In the afternoon, continue your exploration of the park with a game drive along the Yatta Plateau, the world’s longest lava flow. Here, you may spot more elephants, as well as giraffes, zebras, and impalas. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the famous Aruba Dam, where a variety of animals often come to drink.
